Clarification Statement

Recently, our company has been subjected to a series of severe harassment incidents by loan sharks (Ah Long), including phone harassment, defamatory banners, and most recently, an act of vandalism involving red paint. To avoid any misunderstanding, we would like to clarify the following facts:

1. Background of the Incident: In June of this year, I received a call from a loan shark (Ah Long) demanding that I help locate one of my employees, Ng Ch###x Fxx (who was still employed at the time but has since been terminated) because their family owed money. I made it clear to the loan shark (Ah Long) that this issue was entirely unrelated to me or my company. Due to threats made against me, I immediately reported the matter to the police. I also let my employee to settle this case by himself.

2. Escalation of Harassment: After filing a police report and blocking several of the harassing phone numbers, the harassment ceased temporarily. However, in early August, my store was targeted again, with defamatory banners being hung outside. I filed another police report. Last night, around 10 PM, my store was again harassed, this time by an act of vandalism involving red paint. I have since reported this to the police as well.

3. Company’s Position: Our company has never borrowed money from any loan shark (Ah long) and owes no money to anyone. Both my company and I are victims of these malicious acts of harassment. We strongly condemn these illegal actions and urge those responsible to cease immediately.

4. Legal Action: We reserve the right to pursue all legal actions necessary to protect our company’s reputation and lawful interests. We will not tolerate any attempts to damage our company’s reputation, and if necessary, we will take legal steps to hold those responsible accountable.

Through this statement, we want to make it clear that our company has no connection with any loan shark (Ah Long), and all these harassing actions are malicious acts against us. We will firmly defend our legal rights.
