For the past 2 weeks, ever since MFT posted about my Sri Petaling branchโ€ฆ my sisters have been non-stop ๐Ÿ˜…
They said theyโ€™ve been working until โ€œlat kuatโ€ โ€” which basically means not just tiredโ€ฆ but deeply, spiritually exhausted.
Every day feels like a marathonโ€ฆ except thereโ€™s no finish line, just more orders waiting.
Then somehow, I think the universe heard them (or maybe the complaints got a bit too loud ๐Ÿคญ)โ€ฆ and suddenly Master Chris Leong appeared like the hero in a drama.
Calm, composed, and right on time to rescue them.
A true blessingโ€ฆ because honestly, another few days like this, and I think my sisters might have officially gone on strike already ๐Ÿ˜‚

Our Chef Ericโ€™s journey began in Switzerland, where he first learned discipline, precision and how true kitchen standards function in international hotels at a global level. After years of that rhythm, he chose a different path; he ๐จ๐ฉ๐ž๐ง๐ž๐ ๐€๐๐€๐๐ˆ๐‚๐Ž with his wife, Han-Ni, in ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ–. There, he brought quality meat and honest cooking into a neighbourhood space where creativity had room to breathe, and where families could simply gather, eat well and feel at home.

Now, for a short season, that journey comes ๐Ÿ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐œ๐ข๐ซ๐œ๐ฅ๐ž. He's now back in a 5-star kitchen at EQKL, albeit for 7-days. We already miss him at ABANICO, and we are so very proud of his achievements.

We worked with a ๐ซ๐š๐ซ๐ž, ๐ฅ๐จ๐œ๐š๐ฅ ๐›๐ฎ๐ญ๐œ๐ก๐ž๐ซ who still kept the tedious ๐จ๐ฅ๐-๐ฌ๐œ๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ฅ ๐ฆ๐ž๐ญ๐ก๐จ๐๐ฌ, and we kept the packaging simple so the value stays where it belongs - in the sausage itself.

Yes we are a little late, a little behind time, but good things CANโ€™T be rushed. So this year 2026, weโ€™re exceptionally happy with the final product, bringing one treasured flavour closer to home!
