Let’s be honest—instant coffee is convenient. Tear the sachet, pour, stir… DONE. 😆

But then I discovered the moka pot and suddenly my morning coffee became a whole little ritual.

Buy good coffee beans once, grind them fresh, brew a pot… and voilà! ☕️✨ Richer aroma, deeper flavour, and that satisfying “I made this myself” feeling.

Coffee just tastes better when you have to work a little for it.

The reason why I chose tearing the cabbages instead of cutting:

* 🥬 More natural texture: Tearing follows the cabbage’s natural leaf fibers, giving larger, irregular pieces with a pleasant chewy/crunchy texture.
* 🧂 Better seasoning distribution: The irregular edges and separated leaves can help the kimchi paste cling to the cabbage.
* 🌶️ Traditional method: Hand-tearing is common in some traditional preparations, especially when making kimchi at home.
* 🔪 Less bruising: A sharp knife is perfectly fine, but rough cutting or crushing can damage the leaves and release more moisture.
*😁 Self satisfaction.
