Hin Bus Depot has two distinct parts, and knowing the difference will help you plan your visit.

Hin Bus Depot — The Art Space
Open daily, the art space is the permanent heart of Hin Bus Depot. It houses our gallery for rotating art exhibitions, art and craft shops, cafés, restaurants, and a pottery studio. Opening hours are 12pm to 7pm, though individual outlets may vary — some close on certain days of the week. Check which outlets are open before you visit at www.hinbusdepot.com/outlets.

Hin Market
Our weekend market operates on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays only — the art space on weekdays is quieter and does not include market activity.

Friday: 12pm – 7pm
Saturday: 10am – 5pm
Sunday: 10am – 5pm

Each day has its own character, and each is worth experiencing:

Friday — A relaxed, unhurried market with around 40 stalls. The perfect way to ease into the weekend — browse at your own pace, enjoy the quieter atmosphere, and discover makers and vendors without the crowds.

Saturday — The energy builds. Around 100 stalls, with a different themed market each week in collaboration with a rotating roster of organisers:

1st Saturday: Grow Market — eco and sustainability market (IG: GROW Market Penang)

2nd Saturday: Collector's Market (IG: KUNG BROS COLLECTORS MARKET)

3rd Saturday: Makers Market (IG: )

4th Saturday: Luna Sinar (IG: )

Sunday — The full Hin Market experience. Around 150 stalls selling arts, crafts, handmade and homemade goods, with live music and entertainment throughout the day. The energy is at its peak — vibrant, full, and festive.

Each day builds on the last — from the slow charm of Friday, through the themed energy of Saturday, to the full spectacle of Sunday. If you can, visit all three.

A look inside ‘𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, ________’, Danny Lim’s first solo exhibition in Malaysia, featuring a series of photographic works that trace his shift from the fast-paced global fashion circuit back to the quiet familiarity of home. The show offers a straightforward, two-way introduction between the photographer and the land he calls home.

This exhibition showcases a series of quiet portraits of Malaysian youth, cast by Tham Casting with Sara Kong producing the original photo shoot. Alongside the photography, the gallery features an on-site text installation written by Kelly Lim. Departing from his usual high-fashion models, these frames capture the subjects in their simplest form, creating an intimate space where people can just be themselves.
