Cakcibor (Cakchibow) adalah perkataan tersendiri orang Perak yang bermaksud Pepatung, (English: Drogon Fly)
Cakchibow Cafe is located at 122, Jalan Sultan Iskandar, 30000 Ipoh, Perak. Here in Cakchibow Cafe, we serve you our unique way to enjoy our western dish that combines with our own twist from owner/chef travel experience. We serve spiral potato instead of frozen chip, which comes from fresh potatoes. Salad dressing comes from homemade pesto normally you can only have it in an Italian restaurant. For pasta, here we use spiral pasta. The customer can choose carbonara or bolognese for pasta sauce. It is different from any other recipe, you really have to come and try it! Beef patty for grill burger is homemade same goes to the meatball, and it is owner own recipe.
This cafe is a former Chinese medical hall, very famous in 70's and 80's selling Chinese medicine and herbs but the real history about this building comes long ago in 1931 the year was built. By then four special remedy drink in this cafe named using medicine name such as paracetamol, carbomer, ambroxol, fluticasone. All drinks are served in an old medicine bottle. The restaurant's concept is d.i.y, wooden, custom made and one of the kind. it is double storey building, 1st floor suitable for family, bench and table for 8 people. It's nice like having a family picnic. Deco with wood wall panel like cowboy country bar for upstairs, murals on the wall, deem light, a small stage with p.a system and we have garden at the balcony. almost every week we are booked at the garden area for a surprise party, birthday and much more. Cakchibow cafe has a lot to offer you, from family, to dine, to drink, to date and party, but don't forget we love to serve you with our good food!
