Kong Assam Hu : Assam Rebus

1tsp instant assam paste
2pcs tamarind slices
1tbsp toasted belacan
1stalk lemongrass - lightly smashed
3 cups water
*bring to boil and simmer for 20mins
Next , add the following
1tbsp sugar
2-3 pinches of salt
1 onions cut wedges
1 tomato cut wedges
optional to add cilipadi if you want it spicy
Test taste to your liking and adjust accordingly
Lastly, add in fish and boil till fish is cook

Sourish salty light soup texture

I"m so happy today.... terima local Malaysian snack product di Kota London... can't wait to cook Udang dgn sambal tumis rempah pes.. that one will be in next posting.. I wish product is available everywhere in the world.. sebab banyak warga malaysia dia merata-rata dunia.. The Snack is Amazing and Lovely.. Good Job ...
