Just when we thought the fun times were over and our last goodbyes had been said, Marianne brought yet another bestie to the farm!

This one arrived fully equipped with a hiking stick and an insatiable enthusiasm to have a good time with her buddy at HappyLand! Julie travelled all the way from Singapore for this happy reunion, and it was lovely to see old friends picking up right where they left off, with plenty of laughter, stories and catching up along the way.

What makes HappyLand extra special is seeing how it brings people together. Old friendships are rekindled, new friendships are formed, and before long, everyone feels like they’ve known each other forever. ❤️

We’re beginning to think HappyLand isn’t just a farm… it’s becoming a little meeting place for friendships, connections and happy memories. And we couldn’t be more grateful for that! 🌿😊

When you’re home only once every few years, meeting up with childhood buddies becomes all the more meaningful and exciting. For Marianne Yong-Macdonald, being back home is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with old friends — although getting everyone together at the same time is almost impossible, so these reunions have to be staggered! 😄

And what better place to bring them together than HappyLand? 🌿

This second reunion was with Lilian, who brought along her mother, her daughter and, of course, Nuggets, her adorable fur baby! 🐶

Truly, a family gathering in more ways than one; three generations, a childhood friend, and one very much-loved four-legged family member! ❤️

Shirlee’s niece Marianne Yong-Macdonald flew all the way from Canada for this joyful reunion, and she brought along her childhood bestie Connie, who herself is an absolute barrel of fun! Old ties were renewed, new friendships were forged, and there was plenty of laughter all around.

This certainly won’t be the last time we host them. They’ve already promised to return for another durian party (if the durians are available!), more nasi lemak, and plenty of catching up on old times — preferably till the early hours of the morning! ❤️ And yes, those cinnamon buns were a hit too. Maybe I’ll offer something else…
