Napoh Eco Farm was started based on the belief that an intimate relationship with nature contributes to a healthy foundation for personal well-being. We started this project based on our time participating in Scouting activities, where we gained valuable nature experiences which gave us an appreciation of all the services ecosystems provide. Unfortunately, modern society has created a disconnect between people and nature. Our aim for this project is to reestablish that connection and educate our guests on the beauty of nature.
Education
Natural landscapes like forests, grasslands, and wetlands are perfect for the development of a child since it involves all five senses. The five senses are developed through stimulation of sight, sound, smell, touch, and taste. Our farm was established with the intention of educating the younger generation using the ecosystem created on the farm.
Our educational concept is based on the belief that every child is an artist. Our role is to provide a safe learning environment where the child can develop their five senses as well as observational and learning skills. We take great care in developing the games and activities on the farm to promote learning and engagement. We actively encourage parent and teacher participation so that these skills can be expanded upon after the child leaves the farm. These activities work to enhance the connection between child and parent, and strengthen family bonds.
