Year end is the best time to enjoy preserved meat (lap mei). The cool and dry wind cured the meat to perfection in the northern hemisphere.

Lao Deh uses preserved meat from Hong Kong, cooking it with basmati rice in a cast iron pot to dish out this fragrant meal. Only 2 pots are cooked at any one time for best quality. Lao Deh cooks by himself with no helper 😂. Also, do not mistaken the crispy rice for burnt rice ya.

秋風起，食臘味。老爹美食終於推出傳統臘味飯。

老爹使用來自香港的臘味 (臘腸, 潤腸,臘鴨, 臘肉)，在鑄鐵鍋中與印度香米一起烹製這道香噴噴的飯菜。每次只能煮 2 鍋，以確保最佳品質。老爹自己做飯沒有幫手😂。另外，不要將香脆的飯焦/鍋巴誤認為是燒焦的米飯噢。
