A tasting celebrating 50 years since the Judgement of Paris, through the lens of Ridge Vineyards' most iconic wines.

We are truly proud to share a very special achievement for Tua Rita.

This year, Wine-Searcher has included Tua Rita in the Top 20 Best Italian Wines, one of the most prestigious and respected rankings worldwide. This recognition goes far beyond a simple score, as it is based on a combination of evaluations from leading international critics, the global reputation of the brand and the wines, and their market positioning and value.

Within this outstanding selection:

Redigaffi, our pure Merlot, achieved 9th place

Syrah “Per Sempre” ranked 18th place

You can find these wines at our retail partner stores such as Since1939@DCMall , Since1939@OneUtama and other selected stores nationwide

Number nine is another Tuscan giant, the Tua Rita Redigaffi Toscana IGT. The Tua Rita estate was founded in 1984 by Rita Tua and her husband Virgilio Bisti and has gone on to develop a reputation for slightly saline reds with hints of iron.

The Redigaffi is named after a local stream that flows near the property and is a pure Merlot with the first vintage released in 1994. It was also the first Italian wine to granted a 100 point score from Robert Parker, and has unsurprisingly gone on to claim cult status.

Today, the wine has a score of 96 points, and a not unreasonable price of USD$240. -Wine Searcher
