Mark your calendar, On 2nd September, we’re heading to the Southern Rhône for an evening with La Ferme du Mont.
Based in Courthézon, just outside Châteauneuf-du-Pape, La Ferme du Mont was founded by Stéphane Vedeau, who came to w**emaking after a career in professional football and years spent making w**e in the Languedoc. Since arriving in the Rhône in 2000, he has built the estate around a mosaic of parcels across Côtes du Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas and Vacqueyras.
Working with native yeasts and biodynamic practices, Vedeau’s w**es are known for their freshness, purity and soul.
For the evening, we’ll be pouring five w**es from the estate, with a few older vintages included. Romain Seve, Export Director of La Ferme du Mont, will be joining us to introduce the w**es and share more about the estate and its approach.
The Michelin rated kitchen of Bidou will prepare a four-course menu for the evening, designed to accompany the w**es throughout the dinner.
