Fundamentally, our objective in setting up the Ukhuwah Rabbit Farm was to contribute to life style improvement in rural areas.

Immediately you will ask - how can such a farm achieve such a lofty ideal? A somewhat impossible ambition.

We do so by providing simple, clear and sustainable opportunities to improve the targeted constituents’ wellbeing without leaving their communities and hometowns.

Through upskilling, nurturing and providing people with the right platform and exposure in proven farming, we aim to establish a proper, integrated rabbit supply chain to fulfil demand within Malaysia.

How differentiated we are from the rest? Our farm dedicates extra attention to Islamic principles and values, particularly in ensuring clear cut halal certification via the following areas :-

• Provide a healthy living environment for rabbits as well as ensure they are not mistreated in any way.

• Rabbits will be housed in a spacious area to enable them to roam free. Essentially, they will not be living in cramp and stressful conditions.

• Rabbits will be fed nutritious food which does not contain animal byproducts. They are also provided clean water to ensure their health remains optimal.

• Slaughtering is properly executed with respect and compassion, following Islamic tenets. Slaughter will never be done in the presence of other animals.

• Rabbits will be made comfortable before they are painlessly slaughtered.

• The act of the slaughtering will be done with a very sharp object, so as to accelerate the process and reduce the rabbits’ suffering as much as possible.

By doing so, aside to having meat with a high halal standard, you will have the option of enjoying tender and delicious rabbit meat which complies with relevant regulatory and dietary requirements.
