📢📢📢📢📢 Scam Alert! ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️
Today at 3pm, I received a scam call.
The person claimed to be from a school in Meru, saying they have PIBG meetings tomorrow & Monday, and wanted to order food from my café.
At first I was a bit shocked Malay school, Meru area, calling me directly for catering. He even gave me another number to WhatsApp my café menu. I sent it.
20 mins later, he replied with his “order” and said he will collect tomorrow at 2pm.
I told him, “Baik encik, saya akan hantar quotation. Please transfer 50% deposit as confirmation.”
Immediately he called me, saying, “Kerani dah balik", esok masa saya collect baru saya bagi cash.”
I firmly replied, “Maaf encik, memang tak boleh. Lagi-lagi saya tak kenal encik. For my safety & business ethics, deposit is required before I proceed.”
He kept asking “Tak boleh ke camtu?”
I stood my ground: “Kalau takde deposit, memang tak boleh proceed.”
And he just hung up.
💭 To all scammers out there…
What exactly are you gaining from this?
Is it some kind of sickness to find joy in making people suffer or lose?

Please be careful, and always insist on deposit for orders. Don’t let scammers take advantage of your hard work.
