I was very pleased to receive a courtesy visit this afternoon from the Borneo Food & Beverage Association. Although the association was only recently established, their passion and enthusiasm for the food and beverage industry clearly show great potential to contribute positively to the development of Sabah’s F&B sector.

During the meeting, we also exchanged views and shared insights on the industry’s development and future direction, which was truly meaningful and beneficial.

由一批餐饮业人士筹划的婆罗洲餐饮业商会正式成立。将由杨国华Kendy Yeong先生担任会长，巫莉Molly Moo女士担任副会长。
筹划婆罗洲餐饮业商会是为了提升餐饮业的文化（打造成为婆罗洲餐饮业最具影响力的平台）。希望透餐饮业商会代表与行业相关单位沟通和发声！
今后会计划举办行业讲座、工作坊与培训课程，为餐饮业者的员工提供培训；以应对市场的需求。其他活动包括举办美食节、展览与推广商业活动、市场发展趋势、以及商业对核等等。

The Borneo Food and Beverage Industry Association, organized by a group of food and beverage professionals, has been officially established. Mr. Kendy Yeong will serve as President, and Ms. Molly Moo as Vice President.

The association was founded to promote the culture of the food and beverage industry (aiming to become the most influential platform for the Borneo food and beverage sector). The association aims to facilitate communication and amplify the voice of relevant industry stakeholders.

Future plans include organizing industry seminars, workshops, and training courses to provide training for food and beverage industry employees to meet market demands. Other activities include food festivals, exhibitions, business promotion events, market trend analysis, and business matchmaking.
