Borneo Pride first started in early years 2014 by this one Boy vision and mission from Keningau, Sabah, Malaysia to be precise by the name Jesper Jimmy Imbayan, He is the Founder, He led and guide us through his experience of event planner and organization back in 2008. He bring his childhood friend whom he recognize since he was 10 years old, and that Boy is Chase Jude Johnny. And from that momen
t then they began their journey as a Music Lover, Food and Drinks lover, wannabes Disc Jockeys and works all kind of crappy jobs, including construction, salesman and of course Event planner and organization including coordinator all kind of event works to Government and non government, from small to large, we learn from the very best teacher to give us knowledge and hard time experience from crew to supervisor, from stage, truss, sound and light, LED Screen and projectors. We don't just supply but we organize Everything that the Client has to request, until one day we get tired of working for others then we start our own business. First we learn how to cook, then we learn how to do mixologist then we open a bar but not long until Granny get mad for some reason, okay we skip it.. And again we been traveling around Sabah to find what we love to do. And finally we got the Idea of gathering people from around the world to this wonderful rain forest of Sabah Borneo, so that the whole world might be recognize our Home and Culture, music can bring people together, we have connect so many people in our life, mostly backpackers who traveling alone or group from Europe to States and South-east Asia to here, So we have this idea to do one more event of a lifetime, to create unforgettable memory, maybe we can gather all the people together for what they love and passionate to do in one place, which is Here, North Borneo, Sabah, Malaysia. So that the world can know us here, to be able to share wisdom and knowledge and culture. And to be friends with, to share the Love and Peace and Respect. To empowering the youth, to give hope and encourage one another. To make a small change, because we believe the smallest voice can make it louder. We aware and know that we cannot do great things, but we can only do little things with Great Love. And that my friend is from Mother Teresa.
