Unlike your usual soft bread, Shiopan has a slightly crisp, buttery outer layer with a soft, chewy centre โ€” simple, savoury and dangerously easy to keep eating ๐Ÿ˜‚

Weโ€™re taking only a limited number of boxes of 4 each day so we can keep every batch fresh!

A little recap from our recent training with DIDR Sabah DIDR Sabah, where KWA-ZO had the chance to work with micro entrepreneurs on pie and pizza dough.

2026 has given me more opportunities to train others, and through those experiences I realised I really enjoy helping people understand more than just the recipe.

I like sharing the process, where things usually go wrong, and how to make a product work better for the business theyโ€™re trying to build.

And honestly, that has shaped how I see KWA-ZO moving into 2027.

I donโ€™t really see KWA-ZO as just a business that supplies pastries and bakery products anymore.

(Because even from the early days, we were never only supplying to be honest...)

We were helping brands with product ideas, recipes, production, troubleshooting and finding ways to make things work for the businesses we supported.

That could be supply, training, R&D, product developmentโ€ฆ or simply helping a cafรฉ figure out what makes sense for their menu and operation.

Thatโ€™s the direction I want KWA-ZO to grow into.

And the more opportunities I get to do this, the clearer that direction becomes ๐Ÿ’™

A few days ago, KWA-ZO had the opportunity to train 25 entrepreneurs under DIDR Sabah DIDR Sabah on making pie and pizza dough.

Honestly, I never imagined Iโ€™d enjoy training people this much.

Iโ€™ve grown to love sharing not just the recipes and techniques, but also the mistakes I made, the things I wish I knew earlier, and the advice I once thought was โ€œeeee bisingnyaโ€ ๐Ÿ˜‚ but somehow now catch myself repeating to others who are just starting out.

Maybe thatโ€™s part of learning too. Sometimes you understand things better when you start teaching them.

Iโ€™m still learning, still growing, and very much on my own journey. But Iโ€™m grateful to DIDR Sabah for trusting KWA-ZO with this opportunity.

If what Iโ€™ve learned can help someone avoid one mistake, value themselves better, or move forward with more confidence, then the sharing is worth it.
