my colleague shared to me that there is a hidden gem in Setapak that recently he and his family favourite weekend dining place. So this round purposely go all the way to Setapak to check out Restaurant Bagan Lang.

I enjoy the food with its Nothern and Eastern flavours.

What we had and I like are in order bleow:

Subang Lang, now my top no.1 local Chef pizza place is at SS15. Met this chef Shawn many years ago at Tiger event and had since then rated his pizza as my top 1 from his pop up at Tiffin - Sentul.

Mana Tau he go operate inside Sunway Lagoon after that. Only now recently he is now out and collaborating with this cafe with his Pizza as part of The WoodFire Club, SS15 Subang.

Since know he operate back, went to support his business.

Love his creativity with local infusion and his classic are top notch. Love the dough texture which is soft, night light chewy to my liking and this creative base is the 1 to aim for.

What I order and I like in order below:

This round for the first time my dad suggested he wanted to try this Cafe as he is bread lover is this Big Nuts Cafe at Arena Curve, Bayan Lepas.

My parents is also regular for their Big Nuts at Lorong Selamat.

Now I have to say, Big Nuts Cafe do have impressive items that I like both Panini and Coffee.

What I like as below in order:
Panini:
1. Zesty Lemongrass Chicken (Sourdough) : RM 16.90
2. Cheesy Pesto Chicken (Ciabatta) : RM 18.90
3. Tuna Melts (Sourdough) : RM 16.90

Coffee:
1. Almond Butter Pecan Latte : RM 19.90
2. Cafe Latte: RM 12.90
3. Matcha Sweet Tea : RM 13.90
4. Pistachio Choco Latte: RM 19.90
5. Blue Spiriluna Latte: RM 15.90

Certainly love their panini especially their bread. We wanted to buy only their sourdough to go back, unfortunately not avail.

Penang Best Curry Mee at SS2 PJ. This is 1 of the best liauu for Penang Style Curry Mee.
Simple and hit all the right notes. Used to be Father and son duo and now only left him.
A place only for early worm. the chili paste damm keat

I would say this is a hidden gem, underrated or hidden best handmade "Italian" kind local infuse pizza is this
Dante Carlos Pizzeria at Kepong.

After saw posted about thism and I was craving for nice pizza and decided to die die give it a try.
its a funny story that 1st attempt, heavy rain tree fall and I u-turn. Next day went over, 10 mins after seated, no electirciy. What a luck! continue to dine in dark.

What I had:
1. Parma : RM 66 - recommended
2. Babi ASAP - can leave it later not your 1st visit
3. Mushroom soup : RM 13
4. Da Vinci Pie: RM 26
5. Tiramisu : RM 15 (alcoholic) - recommended - for the price no complain

With a hyrid oven, gas+ charcoal and its 3 years in business, this place had now in my top 3 place.
I will definately be back again to try others.

Many of you asked me have I tried n Nasi Lemak Ayam Gepuk.

Start to queue at 5.15pm and ended up to go in at 7.20pm with food served at 7.30pm

smooth operation from ordering to food served.

For Chinese selling Nasi Lemak Ayam Gepuk, I would say the best by far, unless more Chinese selling it would be fun.

I only like his original Boneless Chicken which is perfectly fried and meat is soft and juicy.

Sambal quite perfect with after effect spicy kick and the cashew nut is lightly smoked and creamy. Rice is one of the best fragrant nasi lemak, coconuty lemak and fragrant.

I went add rice and 2 more scoop of sambal.
