AYER is honoured to be recognised among Malaysia’s centenarian companies—a journey that began in 1907, long before Merdeka, and continues today as we approach our 120th anniversary.

Every Stitch Carries a Story.

These pouches were once an AYER uniform.

It was worn by someone who came to work, carried out their responsibilities and played a part in AYER’s journey.

Today, that same fabric carries a different story.

Through our collaboration with Komuniti Tukang Jahit (KTJ), retired AYER uniforms have been transformed into beautiful handcrafted pouches by women artisans from Malaysia’s B40 community.

Every pouch is made with care. Every cut, fold and stitch gives the material a second life while creating a meaningful income opportunity for the woman who made it.

To us, this is more than upcycling.

It is about appreciating what has served us well instead of simply throwing it away. It is about supporting women who are using their skills to care for their families and build better opportunities for themselves.

Most of all, it reminds us that even something as simple as an old uniform can continue to do good.

What was once part of our story now becomes part of theirs.

Building Tomorrow Starts with Strong Leadership.

On 3 & 4 July 2026, our Senior Management team gathered in Melaka for the AYER Senior Management Retreat 2026 — two days dedicated to strategic alignment, leadership development, and meaningful conversations that will shape the Group's future.

The retreat provided an opportunity for our leaders to step away from their day-to-day responsibilities, reflect on our direction, challenge conventional thinking, strengthen cross-functional collaboration, and align on the values and behaviours that will guide AYER's next phase of growth.

Leadership is not measured solely by results, but by our ability to inspire trust, empower our people, embrace change, and lead with purpose.

World Environment Week is officially underway at AYER! 🌱

We kicked off the week with an inspiring session featuring a special address by our Group CEO, Ms Joanne Lee, alongside engaging quizzes, environmental fact checks, and knowledge-sharing activities that encouraged us to reflect on the role we all play in building a more sustainable future.

But the journey doesn't stop here. Throughout the week, our AYERrians will continue celebrating sustainability through hands-on DIY Workshops and an exciting Online Scavenger Hunt designed to spark creativity, learning, and environmental awareness.
