Where Did Corn Dogs Come From?
German Texans invented corn dogs in the 1920s. Originally, a corn dog was merely a sausage battered and fried in cornmeal. Sticks were then added to corn dogs as a unique food-holding utensil, creating the contemporary corn dog.
