Sung Hock Chan (SHC) began as a humble sole proprietorship business selling fish and other seafood about 50 years ago. Business grew over the years and the Company began to expand and this eventually led to the formation and incorporation of Sung Hock Chan Sdn. Bhd. in December 1985. The Company, in order to meet market needs and requirements, began expanding beyond its principal activity of importing and distribution of seafood into the import and distribution of different frozen products.

Sung Hock Chan Sdn. Bhd., with over 50 years of experience in the importing, exporting, wholesaling, retailing and processing of various kinds of seafood and frozen products, has earned a reputation as one of the market leaders in Melaka and its surrounding areas. All products distributed by the company are certified HALAL by JAKIM. Sung Hock Chan Sdn. Bhd. has been awarded the Golden Bull Awards 2005 as winner of the 3rd Malaysia 100 outstanding SMEs.
