A local business started in Nilai by a few Malaccans, serving homemade food and beverages. How the idea sparks?

In the midst of movement control order (MCO) during the pandemic, we missed going back to Melaka so much, especially for the nice food and beverages! Unable to do so, we started making our own food and beverages, trying to fulfil our craving. And it turned out great! We believe in the spirit of sharing is caring. So we sparked the idea of selling our crafts, hoping that our food will bring smile to those who tasted it. Exploring, experimenting & sharing!

August is Merdeka month • a month of stories, memories, and meaningful encounters.

We’ll be bringing ✨homemade happiness to 2 special events this month.

📍 9 August — Small Hands, Big Hearts | antarapreschool , Melaka
A kids-friendly market celebrating creativity, handmade crafts, good food, and moments shared across generations.

📍 21–23 August — 人人集 RÉN RÉN JI | Nilai Memorial Park
A meaningful public curation experience centred around life education (生命教育), featuring exhibitions, art installations, conversations, and spaces for reflection. We’re honoured to be part of this beautiful gathering.

Whether it’s over a cup of coffee or a bowl of cendol, we hope to meet you somewhere along the way this August. See you soon. ☕🌿

Every July feels a little extra special. This month always reminds us where everything began.

Back in July 2021, in the middle of a world slowed down by Covid, Dear July (then known as The Lovve Space) quietly came to life. It started as a tiny home café, then became a takeaway corner, and today, it has grown into a little space where people can finally slow down, sit with a cup of coffee, share conversations, or simply enjoy doing nothing.

Looking back, it has never been about growing fast.
It has always been about growing with heart 🧡

Thank you to everyone who has walked through our doors over the years. Some of you have been here since the home café days, some only found us recently—but every visit, every conversation, every cup shared has become part of our story✨

As we celebrate another July together, we’ll also be taking a little breather before another exciting month ahead.

🗓 July Highlights

📌 8–16 July — We’re taking a short break to rest and recharge.

📌 25–26 July — Catch us with Little Bulat at Selangor Turf Club.

📌 30–31 July & 1 August — Cendol Fam is finally heading back to Nilai!

After a two-month break for , they’re finally coming back! 💚

This June, Cendol Fam will be popping up again at Dear July Coffee, and we’ll also be making two special appearances around Melaka. We’d love to see familiar faces and meet new friends along the way.

As for us, the doors remain open from 11am-6pm, coffee still brewing.
