From Today’s Tasting Notes in Our Own Words:

El Reflejo de Mikaela - Bobal, from a special place in the centre of Spain.

On the Nose: Nice red fruits like red currant and a touch of strawberry. Vanilla, cloves, violet and a rose or two makes this one complex and interesting.

On the Tongue: Somehow bright but lingering with a bucketload of flavour. Tannins are there but smooth and the balanced acidity keeps everything lively and telling the story of the winemaking and region. 🇪🇸

It has been a long while. From Today’s Tasting Notes in Our Own Words:

Chateau Xianghai, (Xia Tian Shan) Cabernet, Merlot

From Manas, Xinjiang region, North Eastern China.

On the Nose: Beautiful like a Chinese Bordeaux. Black berry, blue berry, chocolate, cedar, cloves and we can go on for a while

On the Tongue: Beasty. The tannins are present and decanting is needed. Once this beauty wakes up, you’ll get a balanced sip with a long finish. It’s one to savour and enjoy at peace, slowly.

An extra note to mention, this wine is named after the unique mountain ranges it comes from, where there’s loads of sunshine, not too much water and thus perfect conditions to produce a great wine.
