After 7 years, it’s time to say goodbye. 🥦🍚
Cauli & Rice began in 2019 with a simple but heartfelt mission — to make eating well easier for Malaysians. We knew the numbers: Malaysia ranks among the most obese countries in Southeast Asia, and we believed that something as humble as swapping rice for cauliflower could be part of a bigger change.
What started as a small delivery kitchen grew into 4 outlets across Klang Valley by 2023. At our peak, we were shredding over a tonne of cauliflower every single month — and yes, we genuinely dreamed of seeing cauliflower rice sitting on the same dry goods shelf as a 10kg bag of Basmati. 😄
But running physical outlets in malls is a different beast. Despite our best efforts, the financials couldn’t keep up, and one by one, we made the hard call to close. Our last outlet at Gamuda Walk will officially close on 21st June 2026.
To everyone who ever swapped their rice for cauli — thank you. To our investors who believed in the dream — thank you. To our team who showed up every day and made it real — thank you.
