PD Ostrich Show Farm is much more than suggested by its name. Ostriches are the star attraction but there are other types of farm animals: goats & sheep, donkeys and ponies; cows; various kinds of chicken, ducks, geese, birds...
Then there are the pets: rabbits, guinea pigs, snakes, African soft fur, mice...
The good thing? ALL the animals are people-friendly. Yes, they love to be petted. Fed. Even cuddled. You are allowed to get real close to our ostriches, hand-feeding them, taking photos, touching...
Ostriches have absolutely the most beautiful eyes in the animal world; no mascara needed. The entrance is humble and unassuming, but once inside be prepared for the orchestra of animal sounds. Baying, honking, squeaking, mooing... And shrieks of laughter, amusement and fun from visitors. The farm is wheelchair-friendly and is spread over 5 acres. Lots of space and greenery. So while PD may be hot, the farm offers a breezy and even shady escape. PD Ostrich is a show farm. By this it means, the animals are not bred for meat (except for excess chickens, other fowls and goats). You will find old animals here. We don't hide them. We even have handicapped animals. PD Ostrich is a show farm but it's real -- we avoid cementing too much of the animals' enclosures; it's more difficult to maintain but it's better for the animals and for the environment. The ONLY ostrich show farm in Port Dickson. This Dinosaurs are powered by animaltronics. They roar. They move. They even threaten to bite. Hold on to the hands of your young kids. They will wonder. They will be in awe. They will be surprised. A Bamboo Garden is being developed within Planet Jurassic, for more greenery. The ONLY dinosaur park (and soon, ONLY Bamboo Garden) in PD and Negeri Sembilan. The ONLY Night Farm Safari in PD and some say in Malaysia, too! (We don't know)
Carnivorous Plant Garden. Animals eat plants. But if you are an animal, beware when entering Carnivorous Plant Garden. We have monster plants that would have insects, amphibians, and any small animals which dare venture here, as breakfast, lunch and dinner. Yummy! The ONLY Carnivorous Plant Garden in PD and Negeri Sembilan. Want to stay healthy without pumping yourself with chemical supplements? Our Herbal Oasis is run by a third generation herbalist with tertiary education in this field. Don't play-play. She has given talks to not just Malaysians but to foreign lands, too: Singapore, Hong Kong... There are more than 200 types of herbs in this farm. If you want to stay healthy naturally... drop by. The ONLY Herbal Garden in PD. They are the most colourful and active fish in the world. Who doesn't get impressed by these fighting fish. EVERY one of them is different. EVERY one of them is beautiful. You just can't take your eyes off them. Beautiful things come in small sizes, too. The ONLY Betta Farm in Port Dickson... possibly beyond.
