I’m back to my baking!!
Yesterday’s cake was for my brother in law’s mum, an elderly Malayalee lady.
My sister requested for an orange walnut & pecan cake. Colour ~ white/off white and gold.
I thought… why not make a Saree inspired cake. This time… a traditional Kerala Saree. A saree worn by women of all ages. It is mostly cotton with a plain white / off white body and a golden border called kasavu.
