At PeekaBowl Cafe we strive to serve natural, fresh and nutritious foods and beverages without compromising their taste to promote healthy eating.
Our menu includes Poke bowl, salad, sandwiches, soups and beverages that are deliciously nutritious.
Our Muslim-friendly kitchen is looking for kitchen crews to join our team in . Several full-time & part-time positions are available.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare food items by cutting, chopping, slicing and washing vegetables, meats and other ingredients.
- Prepare food, beverage & dessert menu items including seasoning and/or marinating, grilling, sautéing, boiling and other cooking methods according to the defined standards and recipes.
- Process food orders accurately.
- Clean and sanitise dishes, cookware and utensils.
- Clean and sanitise food preparation work stations. Keep the kitchen clean and tidy at all times.
- Assist with the unloading of kitchen supplies deliveries and their proper cleaning and storage.
- Promptly report food quality or ingredients shortage to Kitchen Manager.
- Adhere strictly to all food health and safety requirements & regulations.
- Perform all other reasonable and lawful tasks assigned by the Kitchen Manager.
Requirements:
- Must be fully vaccinated. (14 days after the 2nd dose of COVID-19 vaccination).
- Must wear a face mask throughout the work shift and maintain personal hygiene at the highest level.
- Willing to learn and adapt to changes.
- Literate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- 1 year experience in similar position is preferred.
- Having culinary experience will be added advantage.
