The story of Big Chili Sauce

How did our journey begin?

About 15 years ago, a housewife who loves making nutritious and delicious food for her family discovered the recipe for the perfect chilli sauce in her humble little kitchen. Her family found it an absolute delight to their taste buds, so she decided to share it with those around her by selling it in markets, vegetable stalls, stores selling steamboat ingredients and yong tau fu stalls.

Enthusiasm continues to be refined by time

It was 10 years ago that she as well as the founder, who is her brother-in-law, started setting up their own Halal Certified production kitchen to produce and supply this tantalizing chilli sauce to steamboat eateries and hypermarkets.

Our Insistence, Our Commitments

Fresh and “Whole Food” Ingredients

Even though our business is no longer small scale, our insistence on using fresh and whole food ingredients remain unchanged. We do not use any food colouring or MSG. Moreover, we only include limited and permitted preservatives in our chilli sauce, which means that our products must be refrigerated.

Both of our products: Extra Hot Steamboat Chilli Sauce and Ipoh Shrimp Paste Chilli Sauce are thoughtfully curated using only fresh and raw handpicked ingredients that host various health benefits. These include chilli, garlic, and kaffir-lime leaves. The perfect blend of these materials and spices bring about a natural spiciness that is unique and fragrant.
