Noodles in Laksa are not only 'Laksa' !

Beside our usual 'laksa' noodles used in our Laksa Kedah, some type of laksa also uses other kind of noodles in their 'laksa'.

For example, in Laksam, the use of wide flat noodles are what make it, Laksam. The noodles are usually rolled into a circle shape and serve with creamy broth.

We also have;

1️⃣ Rice Noodles; These are thin rice noodles commonly used in laksa, particularly in the Penang and Singapore versions.

2️⃣ Egg Noodles: Often used in Laksa Johor variety, these wheat-based noodles are slightly thicker and have a chewy texture.

The type of noodle can vary depending on the region and style of laksa.
