Nestled on a serene hill in Kampung Tanah Merah, Ranau, Red Valley Farm began as a humble dream—one that blossomed from a simple conversation during a trip to Telupid in May 2022. What started as an idea soon became a labor of love, fueled by grit, hope, and the unwavering spirit of five dedicated individuals.
Our Story: From Bamboo Shelters to New Beginnings
On August 6, 2022, we broke ground, constructing our first goat shelter with little more than bamboo, wood, and sheer determination. Every nail hammered and every post raised was a testament to teamwork and sacrifice. But just as the shelter stood ready, financial storms hit. A year of stagnation followed, and our dream teetered on the edge of collapse.
Yet, against all odds, hope prevailed.
On August 6, 2023—exactly one year later—we took a leap of faith and welcomed two baby female goats into our care. These tiny creatures reignited our purpose. Slowly, steadily, Red Valley Farm began to grow.
In December 2024, a breakthrough arrived: 10 female goats joined our herd through a government initiative, marking a turning point. By 2025, our farm celebrated the arrival of five bouncing baby goats, and today, we proudly open our doors to the community as a thriving small business!
