Today our good friend from .my sent me this photo of our biodynamic ginger she used for her organic spice tea. She bought 2 kg from me end of December last year. It is end of May now, it means our biodynamic ginger lasted for 5 months ! 🤯 I asked her how she kept it, she left it in a basket in her kitchen covered with a cloth ( she didn’t break the ginger ) and that was it. No water, no soil, still alive 5 months later. A conventionally grown ginger would probably last two weeks and end of story.
Pic 2 and 3 shows the my own experience with my biodynamic ginger placed in the kitchen without water or soil but uncovered. Photo was taken on 5 May 2026, a bit drier, but hey it’s still budding. I have taken it back to the farm for planting.
Why biodynamic ? Life force.
To sustain life, your food must be alive, and the soil that is growing your food needs to be alive too.
