Durian season in Raub is amazing right now! 🤩 Prices are super low, and I'm learning so much about grading. It's crazy how similar some durians look, but their flavor and texture are totally different. I even got a lesson on spotting the differences between Musang Queen / Tekka (D160) and D144. So cool! 🍈😋

Gold Hill is ready to welcome durian lovers to enjoy our "Pokok Bukit Tua" fruits in Raub again. One week into the season and we have seen our XO, Musang King, IOI, Tekka and Beserah fruits falling again. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the fresh fruits falling everyday and in addition the mangosteens are also starting to ripen !!!

Another week closer to the drop. The fruits get larger by the day and the ones that have dropped are either scavenged by squirrels or harvested by monkeys. The mangosteens while still green are attaining mature sizes and the lanzone is also increasing in numbers and size. And the "Gac" planted 2 years ago has also produced a bright red fruit .... Guess this is a sign of things turning for the better !! 😎

Durian season is back at Gold Hill! 🤩 Mangosteens and lanzones are also ripening for a July harvest. Even the squirrels are doing their taste tests, with some fruits dropping and others just starting to grow. 🥭🐿️😋
