🌯✨ Craving a burrito with a twist? Try our Tuna Burrito using Meamo Plant-Based Tuna in Tomato & Herbs! 🌱 Perfectly savoury, protein-packed, and 100% plant-based — it’s so easy to whip up and full of flavour. Whether you're vegan, vegetarian, or just curious, this one's a must-try!

Ingredients:
1x Meamo Plant Based Tuna Tomato & Herbs
1/2 cup cooked rice (brown or white)
1/4 cup black beans (drained and rinsed)
1/4 cup corn kernels (canned or frozen)
2 tbsp salsa
1 tbsp plant-based sour cream (optional)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp taco seasoning or chilli powder
1 large tortilla
Fresh cilantro (optional)
Lime wedge for garnish

Instructions:
1. Prepare the filling: Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the Meamo Plant-Based Tuna Tomato & Herbs and taco seasoning.
2. Cook for 3-5 minutes until heated through.
3. Assemble the burrito: On the tortilla, spread the cooked rice in the center. Top with the filling, black beans, corn, salsa, and plant-based sour cream.
4. Wrap the burrito: Fold the sides of the tortilla inward and roll it up tightly from one end to the other.
5. Serve: Slice the burrito in half, and garnish with fresh cilantro and a squeeze of lime. Enjoy!

Don't be scared of trying something new this spooky season 👻

Here's a ghastly (but also equally tasty) creation to try out for your upcoming Halloween party.

Recipe:

Ingredients:
1x Meamo Plant-Based Meat in Tomato Bolognese
2x large bell peppers of any colour
4 green onions
¼ cup shredded cheese

Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven or air fryer to (190°C).
2. Slice the bell peppers into halves and remove the core.
4. Place the bell peppers in an oven-safe baking dish and bake until the peppers are slightly soften, about 15 minutes.
3. Remove the bell peppers from the oven and scoop Meamo Plant-Based Meat in Tomato Bolognese into each bell pepper “bowl”.
4. Add the shredded cheese on top.
5. Return the bell peppers to the oven until the cheese melts, about 5 more minutes.
6. Garnish with some green onions and serve warm!

Meal preps should be easy – and it doesn’t get easier than a tofu & tuna stir fry served with hearty multigrain rice.

Ingredients:
1x Meamo Plant-Based Tuna in Soybean Oil (drained)
100g soft tofu (cubed)
1/4 cup frozen carrots (thawed)
1/2 cup kangkung (water spinach)
1/2 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tbsp vegan oyster sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1/2 tsp chilli flakes
1 cup cooked multigrain rice
Optional: 1 clove garlic (minced)

Instructions:
Prepare the Ingredients:

1. Cube the tofu and thaw the frozen carrots.
2. Mince garlic (if using)

Stir-Fry:

1. In a pan, heat up vegetable oil.
2. Saute kangkung, carrots, and the optional garlic until soft
3. Add the drained tuna and cubed tofu, soy sauce, vegan oyster sauce.
4. Gently stir for another 2-3 minutes until well combined.

Finish and Serve:

1. Drizzle the sesame oil and sprinkle chilli flakes (if using) over the stir-fry.
2. Serve hot with a side of cooked multigrain rice.

What inspired us to create this recipe?

Well, we’re on TikTok too much and have watched one too many Spudman videos 👀

Recipe:
2x large potatoes (300g each)
2x Meamo Plant-Based Meat Tomato Bolognese
120g Dairy-free sour cream
120g shredded vegan cheese
30g diced bell peppers
3tbsp olive oil
Fresh cilantro for garnish (chopped)
Optional - 60g diced onion (optional)

Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 200°C
2. Wash your potatoes thoroughly
3. Place potatoes on a baking tray lined with baking sheets. Drizzle with olive oil and bake for 45-60 minutes. Poke with a fork to check if it is tender.
4. Prepare the filling by sauteing bell peppers (onions optional) until soft
5. Stir in Meamo Plant-Based Meat Tomato Bolognese.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste and set aside.
7. Remove the potatoes and cut them lengthwise
8. Scoop three-quarters of the insides and place into a bowl
9. Mix the mashed potatoes with your mixture and some cheese
10. Scoop the filling back into the potatoes
11. Return the potatoes to the oven for another 15-20 minutes
12. Once done, serve with a dollop of dairy-free sour cream and sprinkle on chopped cilantro.
