Our farm practices integrated organic farming concept using a closed loop system where we utilize resources available on our farm and reduce outside resources. Every morning, we will collect food waste from restaurants and wet markets to use as feed for black soldier fly farming. We rear chickens, ducks, goats and fishes without the use of any antibiotics. Our paddy fields are planted using the System of Rice Intensification (SRI) technique. This system conceptualizes on the idea of “less is more” which benefits the farmers. In addition, we also promote our constructed wetland design which treats waste water using a next to no energy, passive design. We hold classes every month for whomever is interested in what we practice at our farm. This is to share what we know on sustainable farming lifestyle to which we believe will make a better future for our community as well as environment.
