More than just a tournament, our SSP Sports & Wellness Pickleball Tournament on 10 July was a wonderful opportunity to bring our people together, strengthen connections, and celebrate our culture.

We Are One Team – Colleagues from across our business came together, supported one another, and enjoyed an evening of collaboration and camaraderie.

We Are Passionate – The enthusiasm and positive energy shown by every participant, supporter, volunteer, and organiser made the event a memorable success.

We Are Curious – It was inspiring to see so many colleagues embrace a new sport, step outside their comfort zones, and enjoy learning something new together.

We Take Ownership – From the planning and preparation to the teamwork on the court, everyone played an important role in making the tournament a success.

Sharing the Spirit of Ramadan Through Bubur Lambuk

At SSP Malaysia, we believe that meaningful CSR is built through collaboration, compassion, and a shared commitment to supporting the communities around us.

Earlier this year, we partnered with Food Bank Malaysia for our CSR Bubur Lambuk Programme, hosted at Neibour Coffee House, bringing together organisations and volunteers with a common purpose, to extend care and support to the community.

Held during the holy month of Ramadan, the initiative centred around Bubur Lambuk, one of Malaysia's most cherished Ramadan traditions. More than just a meal, Bubur Lambuk symbolises generosity, togetherness, and the spirit of sharing. For generations, communities across Malaysia have come together during Ramadan to prepare and distribute Bubur Lambuk, reflecting the values of compassion, gratitude, and unity that define the season.

Through this initiative, Bubur Lambuk was distributed to residents of old folks' homes, single mothers, local surau, and fellow employees, allowing us to celebrate this meaningful tradition while reaching out to members of the community.

While the programme focused on sharing a meal, its impact extended far beyond the bowls served. It strengthened community partnerships, fostered meaningful connections, and reminded us that even the simplest act of kindness can make a difference in someone's day.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Food Bank Malaysia and Neighbor Malaysia for their invaluable partnership, and to everyone who contributed to making this initiative a success.

As we continue our CSR journey, we remain committed to creating opportunities that strengthen communities, inspire compassion, and deliver meaningful impact where it matters most.

🌾 Celebrating Kaamatan in Kota Kinabalu 🌾

Our Kota Kinabalu team recently came together to celebrate Kaamatan, embracing the rich cultural heritage and traditions of Sabah in a warm and festive gathering.

This year’s celebration was made even more special with members of our HR team travelling from Kuala Lumpur to join the festivities, providing an opportunity for colleagues from different locations to come together and celebrate as one team.

The celebration was filled with delicious food, laughter, and meaningful moments as colleagues connected, shared stories, and enjoyed the vibrant spirit of the harvest festival.
