🍚 细九饭店 Sai Kow Restaurant — 一代人的味道，已成回忆
在双溪大年，说起 细九饭店，很多人都会轻轻点头：“哦～那间老饭店啊！”
那是一家陪伴几代人成长的老店，从上世纪七八十年代一路走到今日。👨🍳
当年，“细九”师傅还年轻，在旧区开了个小小的饭档。那时没有冷气、没有装修，几张铁桌、几张椅子，加上一口大铁锅，就是全部家当。
早上煮经济饭，下午炒粉炒饭，忙到连坐下喝水的时间都没有。
但那份“用心煮、老实卖”的精神，让他赢得了第一批顾客。
随着口碑传开，细九饭店慢慢从小档口搬进了店面。
最出名的，是他家的 卤肉、咖喱鸡、咸鱼炒饭 和 家常炒粉，简单、香气四溢、最接地气。
一锅锅的热气，是老街坊每日的幸福。
后来，儿女也帮忙在店里，传承那口“锅气”。
街坊都说：“细九的饭，不是最贵，却是最真。”❤️
不过，时代在变。旧区人潮渐少，年轻一代外出工作，老顾客也渐渐老去。
老板年纪大了，手脚不如从前，终于在2024年决定收起饭店。那一天，老顾客一桌一桌地来“吃最后一餐”，场面温馨又不舍。🥹
细九饭店的招牌收下了，但那份味道和记忆，却留在大家心里。
它不仅是一家饭店，更是双溪大年一个时代的印记。

In Sungai Petani, when someone mentions Sai Kow Restaurant, you’ll often see people smile with nostalgia —
“Ah, that old restaurant…”
It was a place that fed generations, standing strong from the late 1970s until its closure in 2024. 👨🍳
Mr. “Sai Kow,” as everyone called him, started young — just a small food stall in the old town.
No air-con, no décor, only a few metal tables and one big wok.
He served economy rice by day, fried noodles and rice by afternoon — working tirelessly, day after day.
People came not just for food, but for the warmth in every plate.
His signature dishes — braised pork, curry chicken, salted fish fried rice, and simple stir-fried noodles — carried that unmistakable wok hei and home-cooked soul.
As time passed, his children helped in the kitchen, continuing the legacy.
Locals always said, “Sai Kow’s food isn’t fancy — it’s real.” ❤️
But time changes everything.
The old town grew quiet, customers aged, and the master’s hands grew slower.
In 2024, he decided it was time to close. On the final day, old customers filled the tables — eating, chatting, some with tears in their eyes. 🥹
The signboard came down, but the memories remained.
Sai Kow Restaurant wasn’t just a place to eat — it was part of Sungai Petani’s story.
