Hamburger steaks with onion gravy😱🤤

Ingredients :👇

1lb. ground beef
1 egg
1/3 cup bread crumbs
1/2tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1 clove garlic minced
1tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1tbsp. oil
1 1/2 cup thinly sliced onion
2tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 cup beef broth
1/2tsp. salt

Directions :

In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, pepper, salt, onion powder, garlic, and Worcestershire sauce.

Form into thick patties.

Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Fry the patties and onion in the oil until patties are nicely browned.

Remove the beef patties to a plate, and keep warm.

Sprinkle flour over the onions and drippings in the skillet. Stir in flour with a fork, scraping bits of beef off of the bottom as you stir.

Gradually mix in the beef broth. Season with seasoned salt. Simmer and stir over medium-low heat for about 5 minutes, until the gravy thickens. Turn heat to low, return patties to the gravy, cover, and simmer for another 15 minutes.

INGREDIENTS:

250ml (1 cup) milk
7g dry yeast
1 egg
30g (2 tbsp) sugar
450g (3 ¼ cups) flour
1 tsp salt
50g (3 tbsp) butter
Granulated sugar for coating

METHOD:

In a bowl mix together almond milk with sugar, yeast, and egg. Add in flour and salt. Cover for 20 minutes.

Mix in butter and let it rise for 1 hour.

Roll out the dough and divide it into 12 pieces, roll the ends and seal them.

Cover for 15 minutes and fry in the hot oil until golden brown.

Cover with sugar.

CHOCOLATE BISCUIT

INGREDIENTS

100 g of margarine or butter
• 1 egg
1 cup of sugar
• 1 cup of liquid milk
3 tablespoons of cocoa
2 and a half cups of flour
•1 vanilla
1 teaspoon baking powder
between:
1 cup of cold milk
1 bag of whipped cream

PREPARATION

1. Add the eggs and sugar to the oil at Oda temperature and beat with a mixer.
2. After whisking well, add milk to it.
3. After mixing the milk, add the dry ingredients. I used 2.5 cups of flour.
4. Take the mixture you prepared into a squeeze bag.
5. The oven where we put the greaseproof paper
Squeeze the mixture into the tray.
6. Its shape is not important, it will spread in the oven.
7. We cook for 8 minutes in the oven pre-requested at 170°C.
8. You bring the whipped cream you gave between the baked and cooled biscuits.
9. Put 80 grams of melted chocolate on top.

𝗜 𝗡𝗘𝗘𝗗 𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝗣𝗘𝗢𝗣𝗟𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗔𝗬 [𝗬𝗨𝗠𝗠𝗬😀😀😀] 𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞𝗦
Pan-Seared Ribeye with Garlic Butter
Ingredients:
2boneless ribeye steaks 1 inch thick
salt and pepper
2 tablespoons canola oil
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic smashed
2 sprigs fresh thyme
Instructions:
Remove steaks from refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking to bring to room temperature.
Place cast iron skillet over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes. Meanwhile, season both sides of steaks with salt and pepper, gently pressing seasoning into the steaks.
Once pan is hot, add canola oil. When hot and rippling, add steaks to pan, making sure they do not touch each other.
Set a timer and sear first side for 2 minutes and 30 seconds (For a 1 inch steak at medium doneness – see table below for temperatures). Flip steak and set timer for 2 minutes and 30 seconds for second side.
Cooking times for a steak will vary based on the thickness, size, and shape of your steak. For best success, I suggest a meat thermometer. You’ll want to remove your steak from the pan when the temperature reaches 5 degrees below your desired doneness. The steak will continue to cook slightly while it is resting. Temperatures are listed in Fahrenheit.
– Rare: 125 degrees
– Medium-rare: 135 degrees
– Medium: 145 degrees
– Medium-well: 150 degrees
– Well done: 160 degrees.
After flipping steak, add butter, smashed garlic cloves, and thyme sprigs to pan. Once melted, spoon butter over steaks while second side cooks.
Once steak is cooked to your desired temperature, remove steaks immediately from pan and transfer to a plate. Rest steaks by covering loosely with foil for five minutes. At this point the garlic and thyme can be discarded from the pan.
Optionally, drizzle extra garlic herb butter over steaks before serving. Enjoy !!

Delicious Chocolate Cake
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ cup unsalted butter at room temperature
1 cup Dutch-processed cocoa powder sifted
½ cup vegetable oil
1½ cups granulated sugar
½ cup packed light brown sugar
3 large eggs at room temperature
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
½ cup sour cream at room temperature
1 cup milk at room temperature
1 cup hot coffee
chocolate buttercream frosting

Instructions :

This decadent chocolate food cake will melt in your mouth with an intense chocolate flavor.

Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and prepare 2 9inch baking pans. Butter and flour the pans then line the bottom with parchment paper and set aside. Into a large mixing bowl, sift in 2 cups of all-purpose flour together with a teaspoon of salt, baking powder, and baking soda then sift them up and give them a whisk then set that aside.

Into a medium-sized bowl, add one cup of dutch processed cocoa powder, to that add half a cup of vegetable oil, and whisk it up into a black beautiful cocoa solution.

Prepare your stand mixer with the paddle attachment and add half a cup of unsalted room temperature butter and cream it up until nice and smooth (that should take about 30 seconds). Add the chocolate solution into the butter together with half a cup of light brown sugar and one and a half cups of granulated sugar.

Mix that up for about 5 minutes until it’s really light and fluffy scraping the bowl down in between the mixing. With the mixer on low speed, add three room temperature eggs together with vanilla extract then reduce the speed to the lowest setting and add the dry mixture in thirds. To add more richness to the cake, add half a cup of sour cream and half a cup of milk into the batter alternating it with the dry ingredients.

Mix until just combined with no dry ingredients seen then switch to a spatula and finish that off by scraping the bottoms and sides of the bowl. Lastly, add one cup of hot coffee, the coffee taste won’t be felt in the cake but it will help amp up the chocolate flavor.

If you don’t want to use the coffee you can alternate with hot water instead. Whisk the hot coffee/water into the chocolate batter until you have a uniform consistency.

Divide your batter equally in the baking pans and bale them into the preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until the center is set. To make the chocolate buttercream frosting, add butter into the bowl of a stand mixer and whip on high for 5 minutes until light and cloudy.

Add half a cup of cocoa powder, salt and vanilla then mix until nice and combined. Once that is well combined, add 6 to 8 cups of powdered sugar one by one while it mixes on low speed and add about 3 tablespoons of cream.

The sugar is according to your taste so you can use more or less. To assemble the cake, make sure they are completely cooled down, place it on a plate, and add a nice amount of frosting on top. Smooth that out to the edge and add the next layer ad cover with frosting.

Cover the cake with all the frosting and smooth it with a spatula. Enjoy the chocolate amazingness of this cake with your family.

Kentucky Butter Cake🤤🤤

INGREDIENTS
1 cup butter, softened
2 cups sugar
4 large eggs, room temperature
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup buttermilk
Butter Sauce:
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter, cubed
1/4 cup water
1-1/2 teaspoons almond extract
1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

HOW TO MAKE KENTUCKY BUTTER CAKE :
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla.
Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk, beating well after each addition.
Pour into a greased and floured 10-in. tube pan. Bake at 350° until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, 55-70 minutes. Cool 10 minutes. Run a knife around edges and center tube of pan. Invert cake onto a wire rack over waxed paper.
For sauce, combine the sugar, butter and water in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat just until butter is melted and sugar is dissolved. Remove from the heat; stir in extracts.

Salwaa's Fresh Cream Doughnuts

Salwaa's Cape Malay Cooking

Ingredients:
4 cups cake flour (standard 250ml cup)
1 packet instant yeast
1/2 cup sugar
pinch salt
1 cup boiling water
1 large egg
1 dessert spoon butter
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
milk as needed

1 litre cooking oil for deep frying (and some extra oil for greasing and oiling your hands)

Method:
Dissolve sugar, salt and butter in 1 cup of boiling water, in a measuring jug large enough to hold 1/2 litre of liquid. Cool down. Add beaten egg, salt, vanilla essence and enough milk to make 1/2 litre liquid.

Combine flour and yeast in a mixing bowl. Add milk mixture and mix into a soft dough. The dough will be very soft, don’t be tempted to add more flour.

Set aside covered until the dough has risen double in size, about 1 & 1/2 hours. Divide dough into approximately 30 small balls on a slightly oiled surface. The dough will be sticky, use a little oil to oil your hands. Heat oil in large saucepan. Once oil is hot gently pull each doughnut into an oblong shape and fry each side until browned. Drain on absorbent paper.

Sugar Syrup:
Boil together, 2 cups water and 1 1/2 cups sugar until sugar has dissolved and syrup is slightly sticky and thickened. Dip doughnuts in syrup and sprinkle with desiccated coconut.

Variation:
Dip the doughnuts whilst lukewarm in a plate of white sugar
Dip cooled doughnuts in cold sugar syrup, make a slit length wise in doughnut, fill with strawberry jam and whipped fresh cream.
