Delivering world-class service requires continuous evolution. Coinciding with our recent brand reveal, we are excited to launch the Persona Diagnostic Tool.

This survey, which has been in development for over a year, aims to lift our operations to international standards. It evaluates our ecosystem through three distinct lenses: internal department feedback, inter-company collaboration and the essential perspective of our external customers and consumers.

To guarantee absolute confidentiality and objectivity, we have partnered with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) as our independent partner. Your insights are entirely anonymous and fully vetted.

In recognition of World Blood Donor Day, we reflect on the importance of blood donation and the impact every donor makes.

Blood donation is more than a healthcare need. It's a reflection of who we choose to be.

At OL, our Persona calls us to be Authentic, Caring and Passionate. Donating blood is a simple yet powerful way to live those values by showing up for people we may never meet, but who need us nonetheless.

It's about taking responsibility for our communities, being accountable to one another and being a force for good through actions that create a more sustainable future for all.

We invite you to learn more about the impact of blood donation and why every donor matters.

Customer service in Namibia is facing a critical turning point. From long queues to unreturned calls, consumers routinely encounter a systemic gap between the service they deserve and what they actually receive. Elevating these standards is no longer just an operational goal; it is a national necessity that requires honest conversation and decisive action.

As part of our broader brand reinvention, we are addressing this challenge head-on. By collaborating with PricewaterhouseCoopers to ensure complete anonymity and objective vetting, we are capturing vital feedback from our employees and external stakeholders alike to redefine what excellent service looks like.

The OL Group announces the permanent closure of the Hartlief Shop & Bistro in Windhoek’s Northern Industrial Area, effective 15 July 2026.

This decision follows a comprehensive 12-month review of Hartlief’s operations, undertaken to ensure the business remains competitive, financially responsible and strictly focused on its core meat processing and distribution capabilities.

Please note that Hartlief’s full range of world-class products remains available at retail stores nationwide. Additionally, customers can continue to enjoy Hartlief favourites at the Hilltop deli in Windhoek’s Kleine Kuppe suburb.

The closure will not impact the permanent employment status of affected employees. Engagement has already commenced with Shop & Bistro staff to explain the reasons for the decision and to present available options.
