Why people reject your snacks before tasting and what to do
1. Your snacks does not look or smell appetizing. If your chinchin and chips look burnt or have an odd smell, people won't even give it a try.
And that is why you need to work on your coloring and aroma. If applicable, try using natural flavors like ginger, vanilla, cinnamon...
Powdered pepper can be good with chips too.
2. Arrange your snacks in the bag/container.
Dont just pour 30 sachets of chinchin into the container and take it out to sell, it is very wrong. It speaks so well about how disorganized you are and nobody will want to buy from a disorganized person.
3. Atimes people do that because they have had a bad experience buying soggy chips or burnt peanuts. What you should do now is to approach them with the fact that your snacks are fresh and crispy.
Make sure you emphasize on the freshness and crispyness when marketing. And yes, your snacks must be fresh and crispy.
4. Show them what a satisfied customer they know have said about your products. They wil believe this easily. If people haven't seen or heard anyone talk about your products, they hesitate in buying. But no go tell lies on people o, Lol.
5. If that person is a potential big time customer, trying giving them some of your peanuts, chips or chinchin to taste. You should atleast be sure of the quality of your snacks.
6. Tell them about your approval/certifications. If you have a Nafdac number, a CAC registration or any other license don't forget to include it while talking about your products.
7. I won't stop emphasizing on this:
You must have a good package and identity. Your packaging is 75% of your presentation.
Nobody cares about the quality of your products if you have poor packaging. If you don't have, they will mistake your quality chinchin for someone else sour chinchin.
8. Use good vegetable oil. Don't compromise on this no matter what, at TEECHOPS, we use the finest of oil to ensure the safety of our customers.
They might even think you got it from those bad producers.
