Baking can be super therapeutic, right? 😊

😊 I remember the day I stumbled upon baking as a way to cope with depression... It was a low point, and a friend left a box of ingredients on my doorstep with a note that said "Bake something🍰 I was skeptical, though she bakes and anytime she post her cake I will always be the first to view and comment , I love the soothing smell of baked cake and for a moment, I forgot about everything else. 😌
😊 So, I started small, just following simple recipe she gave me, and the more I baked, the more I looked forward to it. It was like a ritual – mixing, measuring, waiting for that perfect rise. The kitchen became my safe space, where the only thing that mattered was the next cake. 🎂 I remember making a vanilla cake with buttercream frosting for my friend's birthday, and the joy on her face when she took a bite... it was like a spark inside me. 😊
😊 From there, baking became a way to channel my emotions – the good, the bad, and the ugly. I'd whip up a cake for no reason, just to see the smiles it brought people. And when depression hit hard, I'd bake just for myself, leaving little notes with each slice: "You're doing great," "You're loved," "You're enough." 🍰💛 It was my therapy, my escape, and my way of putting the pieces back together. 🎂
