Before you buy that cattle, ask yourself: Am I going for quick turnover or long-term fattening?

⚡ SHORT-TERM — 1–2 MONTHS
For faster turnover, look at fast converters like White Fulani and Ambala. With good feeding and management, they can put on weight quickly.

⏳ LONG-TERM — 3 MONTHS & ABOVE
If you’re prepared to keep the animal longer, Bokolo and Bororo can be considered. They are generally slower converters and require more time and consistent feeding.

💡 The cattle you choose can determine how long your money stays in the business. Choose wisely!

PAWPAW LEAF WATER FOR POULTRY

Some of the popular mistake is choosing cattle based only on size or appearance, or what you want….without considering the environment where they will be raised.

Ambala and White Fulani are breeds that can perform well across different parts of the country, including wetter regions when properly managed.

Bororo, being a Sahelian type, is well adapted to the drier parts of the country where rainfall is relatively low and conditions are harsher.

The lesson is simple: before you buy cattle, understand the breed, understand your location, and understand your production goal.

The right animal in the right environment can make a huge difference in performance and profitability. 📈🐂
