We had another interesting AgroSpark Initiative at the farm a few weeks ago, were we spoke to the students about innovations in Agriculture, showed them greenhouse structures, simple hydroponics and vertical stands and how they worked, we also sowed seeds and transplanted lettuce with them and gave a farm tour amidst many other fun activities.

It was fulfilling as always to see how happy and Inspired they were and also to answer their intelligent questions, we look forward to seeing them all at the very top in the Agricultural field and in all works of life.

At Etema farms and Agro consultancy limited, we are committed to feeding Nations and transforming lives one activity at a time.

wishing you a great weekend ahead👍

Many urban and peri urban dweller are fast adopting the yam sack farming system but at the same time there have been many complaints on the poor success rate of harvest, top on the list are tiny harvest of yams, sometimes smaller than the seed yam planted, delayed germination after planting, yams rotting inside sack, etc.

It was because of these complaints and more that Etema farms organised a 2.0 training on yam sack farming. We had participants both in person and online. It was a wonderful time because most participants were able to point out where they had been missing it even before we got to the hands-on practical session.

We were also able to get quality and desirable yam seeds for some participants and directed others on where to get the needed materials, it ended with a big smile on everyone's faces and excitement to grow better yams because they had been empowered.

We are committed to feeding Nations and transforming lives one training at a time, please join us, partner with us, patronise and refer us to ensure Nigeria and the world at large is food secured with safe and quality food.

Kind Humanitarian Initiative called, and we answered.

On the 24th of April, 2026, Etema Farms and Agro Consultancy Limited partnered with Kind Humanitarian Initiative (KHI) to train women farmers in Keti community in the FCT. The session covered practical topics like new farming techniques, the value of improved seeds and inputs, market access, and food preservation methods.

The training was productive—farmers had their questions answered, learned where to find quality seeds and inputs, and left ready to apply what they learned.

Thank you to the KHI team for organizing this project, empowering the women with improved seeds and inputs, and trusting us to deliver the training. We would like to specialy thank Nancy Olisakwe for her constant support to Etema farms and going with the team all the way to Keti community. Finally, we thank the Jubaili Agrotec sales team for showing the farmers affordable chemical options for managing pests and weeds.

Etema Farms remains committed to projects that support food security and farmers' well-being. Join us as we work to feed nations and transform lives, one community at a time.

It is Etemafarms' AgroSpark O'clock 🎊💃🤗

Last week Wednesday, we had our bi- monthly AgroSpark initiative meeting with some students from Diamond international Academy, FCT.

We spoke to them about the importance of Agriculture and food security in Nigeria, we showed them innovations in Agriculture like micro irrigation systems, greenhouses, hydroponics system, vertical farms and more, we gave them a tour of our farm, and guided them through some practicals. It was amazing to see their excitement and energy 🤗

They left happy, impacted, and motivated, and we at Etema Farms felt fulfilled and hopeful that we have sparked a light in their young hearts, given them the opportunity to see and experience early enough what they hear and read in their Agricultural science classes, we are hopeful that the future of Agriculture and the food security of the nation is indeed great.

We look forward to the one🙏
