I was called during last week Friday around 7pm by a man who said his name was Hon Umaru Abu Kabiru.
That his wife is my customer, that she always moi moi and ekuru from me before she travelled out.
He has a 3day event and she recommended me for catering. That his PA will call me.
So a woman by the name Sandra Okafor called me saying she is his PA and that I should make a quotation for 500plates of jollof rice, 1chicken,1beef,1moimoi,1chivata&water for 3days, making 1500plates in total.
That I should call her back.
Immediately after the call I checked truecaller for the names but no scam indication.
Tried WhatsApp number but it is not available on WhatsApp. Check facebook, nothing.
I called the following day,I intentionally said hello madam ngozi (to know hear hear her reply) then said this is sandra not ngozi , sorry it is wrong number and she dropped the call(what a smooth smart reaction from a 419)
So I called back said oh I mixed up your name. I told her the total cost . She said call me on Monday by 8am, so I can give you our office address, see you physically and make payment.
I was so undecisive if it was real or not.. Because there’s no rush . But in my spirit I knew something wasn’t right
So on Monday I didn’t call because I wanted to see how it goes.
Around 10am she called , in 20secs of conversation she dropped the callled.
So I called her back , she said her airtime went of that she has been calling other vendors.
That she will send me the their office address, but she wants to know if i can supply hand sanitizer along side the food.
I said ok.
Then she said not any type of sanitizer. They have a special kind they use every time during their events. She will send me the information of the supplier but she wants us to strike deal on profit sharing (60:40)of the sanitizer. She wants to make money from her boss.
I laughed.
She asked why I laughed . I said send the supplier details.
Then she sent sms.l saying the supplier is Pst Amos Ogunubi(in the video) so I google searched the company name in the sms (EXBA NIG LTD), check IG, TikTok .
Oh voila… Fraud!!
After about 2hours she called saying have I called the supplier.. she was expecting my call .. Then I slammed her occupation to hearing (first clip of the video) .. she dropped the call😂😂.
