Journey Through Northeastern Nigeria

For months, we have been travelling, listening, learning, cooking and documenting.

From the Northeast, we have brought back stories, ingredients, techniques and memories that deserve a place at the table.

Yesterday, we finally photographed a glimpse of what we have been working on dishes inspired by our journeys, the people we met, and the food cultures that continue to shape the North.

And now, we can finally tell you where we are taking you.

TASTE OF AREWA IS COMING TO SPICES BY VII, WUSE 2.

This year’s pop up is a celebration of the Northeast its food, its ingredients, our fusion with Turkish Cuisine and its people and the stories behind what we eat.

And there is another collaboration we have been quietly working on.

Something very special is coming.

We can’t reveal it all just yet, but we promise it is a partnership rooted in story, place and a shared love for Nigerian food culture.

This is more than a menu.

It is a journey from the places we have visited to your plate.
From the Northeast, to our kitchen, to your table.
