Tigray Coffee Co. at Coffee Fest Madrid

We are pleased to be sharing Kwararafa Coffee, our Nigerian Arabica sourced from Gembu on the Mambila Plateau, with coffee professionals and enthusiasts from across Europe at Coffee Fest Madrid.

This marks Tigray Coffee Co’s first international coffee event, and an important step in presenting Nigerian coffee as a distinct origin within global specialty conversations.

The engagement over the past days — tastings, questions, and thoughtful exchanges — has reaffirmed the growing interest in African origins beyond the familiar, and the value of careful, origin-led storytelling grounded in quality.

Our participation is supported through the United Kingdom Trade Partnerships (UKTP) Programme, an International Trade Centre project funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO).

We look forward to building on these conversations. More to come.
