DRIED TOMATO BUSINESS

How to make money from it

I made a post showing how tomato is been sun dried but course they were not following proper hygiene. Do not do your own like them

I will be showing you all the various ways to make money from dried tomatoes.

In Nigeria we have abundance and scarcity season. We all know how much the price goes up during scarcity and people look out for alternative. Currently the price of tomato is cheap and are wasting in so many markets

If you have idle cash, please this is a business worth looking at( if you can’t do it yourself get someone you can trust to handle it for you)

Once it’s done keep it for when the fresh ones are scarce

Don’t allow tomato to waste. This is the time to buy as much as you can ✅

You can make money from dried tomato in any of these ways :
1. Dried tomato powder (i made a note on this )
2. Offer dehydrator services for people and they pay you . You can even offer sun drying for people
3. Process fresh tomatoes into dried ones, store in bags and wait for scarcity season

I already made a post on how to make tomato powder and make money from it

Now, so many people don’t have dehydrators and don’t have the money to get one. You can buy a big dehydrator and position yourself as a service provider. They come to you with their tomato and other veggies , you dry it for them and they pay you

You can either sundry it by yourself or use a dehydrator or an oven .

Methods of drying tomatoes
1. SUN DRYING
Wash your tomatoes with salt water, cut into thin slices, place on a rack/ a mesh/ a mat / a tampon etc and then use cheese cloths to cover them to prevent flies from perching

2. DEHYDRATION
Modernization has helped by making this useful machine. Same process above but this time it dries inside your dehydrator. You set the timer and check it from time to time. If you don’t have a dehydrator you can make use of those who have it and pay for it

3. OVEN
Pre heat your over before usage

Tips for drying tomato
1.select good tomatoes that are strong
2. Slice them thinly , this will help them dry fast
3. Monitor them while drying
4. Store in airtight packages

Dried tomatoes can be turned into powder by grinding

Dried tomatoes can be used back as fresh tomato, all you need to do is soak in warm/hot water

Dried tomato can be used as it is in recipes

PALM OIL BUSINESS IS VERY LUCRATIVE

Read again it is very lucrative business. Many people have made good fortune trading and storing palm oil

Most people do trade while some others do storage

Palm oil has its season, the season where prices drop is fast approaching
