"I prophesy to you again, in this Tinubu's tenure, there will be tears of joy in Nigeria in the next six months.”

Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin of the Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry has disclosed what God told him about Nigerians’ fate in this administration.

The cleric bragged that he prophesied Tinubu’s victory in November 2022 and that any prophet whose words did not come to pass should be demoted.

Give Us Another G5 Emerges For APC To Win In 2027, Akpabio Tells Wike

Senate President Godswill Akpabio has urged former Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike and his four other friends in the G5 to come up with another aggrieved group within opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to make winning the 2027 presidential election a smooth ride for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Akpabio, a former Akwa Ibom State governor, spoke on Sunday at a thanksgiving reception held at Wike’s private residence on Ada-George Road, in his hometown, Rumueprikom in the Obio-Akpor Local Government Area of the oil-rich South-South state.

“I want to thank you for all your efforts to bring justice to Nigeria,” Akpabio told Wike who backed the return of power to Southern Nigeria and supported APC’s candidate, Bola Tinubu against his party’s choice, Atiku Abubakar in the 2023 presidential election.

“And I want to thank the G5 Governors,” the Senate President said whilst addressing the G5 or the Integrity Group made up of five major aggrieved politicians within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who kicked against the emergence of Abubakar in the last February 25 poll.

“We are very delighted, we are proud to have G5. Please, ensure that in 2027, another G5 emerges so that APC will continue to do well in this country. And if you like, you can add two more, make it G7 and not only G5,” Akpabio added.

Is the Special Adviser on Security to the President the same as National Security Adviser?
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu appointed some special advisers on security, monetary policies, energy, special duties, communications and strategy, trade, investment, and political and inter-governmental affairs.
This was after he had sought the approval of the Senate to appoint twenty special advisers as required by the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,1999.
However, the appointment of Malam Nuhu Ribadu as special adviser instead of Nationa Security Adviser as traditionally and widely envisaged by many Nigerians has triggered a sort of controversy.
Many Nigerians are wondering what must be responsible for the departure from tradition and convention they are used by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
But in retrospect, it is a must ado about nothing.
There is no legislation in creating the Office of the National Security Adviser.
The only legislation the National Security Adviser is mentioned in the corpus of laws of the Federation of Nigeria is the Terrorism (Prevention and Prohibition) Act,2022.
Section 4 (a-f) of the Terrorism ( Prevention and Prohibition) Act 2022 vests functions on the National Security Adviser including formulation of policies for the effective implementation of counter-terrorism and financing of terrorism efforts; to ensure effective formulation and implementation of a comprehensive counter-terrorism strategy in Nigeria, the establishment of a National Counter -Terrorism Centre with the approval of the President among others responsibilities.
Sections 5 (3) (g) & (5) of the Terrorism (Prevention and Prohibition) Act also mentioned the National Security Adviser.
Section 6 of the Terrorism (Prevention and Prohibition) Act also provides that there shall be established in the office of the National Security Adviser National Counter-Terrorism Centre which shall be the coordinating body for counter-terrorism and terrorism financing in Nigeria charged with the coordination of counter-terrorism policies.
Section 7 (1) of the Terrorism (Prevention and Prohibition) Act provides that the President shall appoint a National Coordinator for the National Counter-Terrorism Centre on the advice of the National Security Adviser.
Section 8(2) & (3) of the Terrorism (Prevention and Prohibition) also mentioned the National Security Adviser.
It remains to be seen if the Special Adviser on Security is the same as the National Security Adviser mentioned and contemplated by the legislature of the Terrorism (Prevention and Prohibition) Act.
