This photo breaks my heart.
To the farmer who lost these chicks: I see you. I feel you. We’ve all been there. One day everything looks fine, the next day it’s like this.
Broiler farming is not just business. It’s sleepless nights, checking brooder temp at 2am, and praying for life.
To my fellow farmers: Let’s learn from this.
Check these 3 things daily:
1. Heat- Too much or too little kills fast
2. Water + Feed - Must be clean and available 24/7 for day-olds
3. Ventilation + Space- Chicks pile up and suffocate when stressed
You didn’t fail. Farming is risk. The only way to grow is to learn and try again.
