A child did not choose their parents, and they certainly did not choose the circumstances that led to a separation or divorce.

One of the most common excuses I hear for fatherhood abandonment is:
“She left with the children.”
“She divorced me.”
“She made it difficult for me.”

Here’s my question:

When did your disagreement with their mother become your children’s punishment?

Being a father is not a title you hold only when the relationship with the mother is good. It is a lifelong responsibility that exists independently of your feelings toward your former partner.

This isn’t about taking sides between men and women. It’s about putting children first.
