It gave him a leaf — green, glowing faintly — and said:
“When they reject you, this leaf will turn red. When they celebrate you, it will turn gold.”_
Mbawum tucked it into his pocket.
Next morning? The kwe’s daughter laughed at him again.
Leaf turned red.

EPISODE 1: “THE BOY WHO HEARD THE CLOUDS WHISPER”
In the village of Rubur Nyim, where palm trees bend low and the river sings at dusk, lived Mbawum — small, quiet, called “the useless one” because he never caught fish, sold kola nuts, or danced at festivals.
But Mbawum heard things. The wind whispered, “The elders forget how to listen.” The river murmured, “I’m thirsty too.” And one rainy season, clouds whispered, “We won’t fall unless you call us.”
So he stood barefoot in the parched courtyard, arms wide, eyes closed, and whispered, “Come, clouds. The earth needs you.” The sky split open. Rain fell — soft, sweet, scented like kola — like God remembered Rubur Nyim.
Villagers stared. Some knelt. Others ran. Mbawum smiled.

WHY I STOPPED REJECTING MY WIFE'S FOOD 😭

Yesterday, I was in the room when my wife called me to come and eat dinner. I came out of the room and I balanced well on the dinning, expecting my dinner.

Guess what? This woman brought me bread and egg....imagine! 😱

Who does that? 🙄🙄
Who serves a Yoruba man egg and bread for dinner? What happened to semo and egusi soup? 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Anyways, I sha rejected the food because I can't eat egg and bread for dinner. I'll be feeling unsatisfied. Maybe it's psychological.

Wifey said: You that don't know how to cook anything, it is this same you that can select food. The annoying part is, if I ask you what you would like to eat before cooking, you will say you don't know but when I cook what is on my mind, you will reject it abi? You must be a w!zard 🙄

Me: Whatever! All I know is that I don't want bread and egg.

Wifey: Okay, fine! So, what do you want now?

Considering the fact that she has stressed herself to make egg and bread, I decided to make things easy for her and told her "Just make me noodles, I'll manage it".

Wifey: Noodles ba? Don't worry, I will give you noodles. Just wait.

She angrily took the bread and egg back to the kitchen and sent Kemi to get her noodles.

When Kemi came back with noodles, I didn't count one to five and boom.... Noodles was ready...Haaa! Na magic or juju? Even 1 minute man dey last pass like this oo.

When she brought the noodles to me, I couldn't believe my eyes 😱

The onions she sliced inside were almost raw and big big. I also saw big big red pepper 🌶 everywhere on the noodles. Very hot and raw pepper 😭😭😭

And she gave me and said "Sebi you want noodles, oya see am now! And you must finish everything oo"

That was how she FOSS me to eat everything. As I was eating it, water was coming out of my eyes due to the hotness of the pepper 🥵

I don't deserve this. I'm a good person. 😭😭😭

But that is not the end...

I won't tell anybody what my eyes saw in the toilet this mo
