A lot of customers outside Plateau State usually confuse the types of bags we use for Irish potatoes, so let me explain it clearly
We have two different types of bags:
1️⃣ Fertilizer Bag (Farmer’s Bag)
This is the regular bag farmers use directly from the farm. It is smaller in size and mainly used at the village level.
2️⃣Normal (Brown) Bag
This is the standard market bag used for buying and selling across markets. It is bigger, stronger, and usually comes with a cover.
⚠️ Important Difference:
One fertilizer bag is NOT equal to one bulker bag.
To get one full bulker bag, you will need more than one fertilizer bag (plus extra quantity added).
Now think about it:
If a fertilizer bag is already selling for ₦55,000 – ₦60,000 at the village, how much do you expect the full Normal (brown) bag to cost in the market?
