PUBLIC HEALTH WORLDWIDE - OUR HEALTH, OUR RESPONSIBILITY

Public health is not just about hospitals. It is about preventing diseases before they happen and making life healthier for everyone, everywhere.

Around the world today, we face common threats:
1. Infectious diseases like Diphtheria, COVID-19, Tuberculosis and Cholera.
2. Non-communicable diseases like Diabetes, Hypertension and Cancer from our lifestyle.
3. Poor hygiene, unsafe water, fake drugs, and lack of vaccination.
4. Climate change and pollution affecting our air, food and water.

What can WE do to stay safe?

- PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE: Vaccinate yourself and your children. Wash hands regularly. Drink safe water.
- LIVE HEALTHY: Eat balanced food, exercise, avoid smoking and drug abuse.
- SEEK RIGHT CARE:Avoid self-medication and unqualified chemists. Always visit qualified health workers.
- PROTECT OTHERS: Cover your mouth when coughing, stay home when sick, keep your environment clean.

Remember:A healthy person can build a healthy family, a healthy community, and a healthy world.

Public Health starts with YOU. Let's work together for a healthier world.
